Headlight / Sidelight Confusion...!

Slightly confused about some bulbs I got...

Ordered some headlights with 'free sidelights' and got the Philips Blue Vision H4 bulbs with some W5W bulbs included. Also got a pair of Osram H3 bulbs which I thought were for the sidelights!?

Had the bulbs fitted today (during a service) and was told the H3 bulbs didn't fit, but the other bulbs were fitted ... does that mean the W5W bulbs were for the sidelights... :?: :? :?

Yep! Sidelights are W5W capless bulbs.

Don't know what the H3's are for?? Spotlamps maybe??

The side lights take a small 501 bulb thats 5w usually so it probably is the W5W you have, I dont know what the H3 fits though :?

Cheers guys... thought they had 'done' the sidelights but they still looked a little more yellow than the headlights...

... would crystal sidelights improve this or not make a difference :?:

No I have got crystal side lights and they still look yellow :cry:
