Hi All

Just wondering if any of you lot have had any problem's with the seat's

The driver side one of our's has staarted to rinkkle just of centre and it look's well tacky now, you give it a rub to brush it out but you can't get rid of it.

Have any of you had this and been back to the dealer with this problem??

Cheers Dougie

my passenger side has stopped that frantic dive forward when you pull the handle or press the foot thingie on the back of the seat in fact feck all happens now the back merely flops forward
still its in for a service next weekend so will get them to have a look at it then

if you mean the plastic thingie at the top of the door pillar (there must be a more technical term for this  ) then yes.
i was under the seat and all sorts (not literally you understand) and the spring seems to be under tension but cannot see anything blocking its release moved all the carpets etc but decided not to knack it with my continued uneducated car maintenance efforts so will leave it to the "experts"

ye the P1 seats as good as they are to sit in are a real nightmare when you need to get someone in the back

The seat does not go back to its original setting when you set it up for driving so you have to reset the bloody thing once you have got the seat back after the person has got in the back. What a palava

This is a basic error with the seat. Can you set the seat so that this does not happen everytime you move the backrest forward to get someone in the back!

dont think so Tone its set so that it slides all the way forward when someone gets in/out of the back (its just that mine is knacked so its not doing it)

Oddly enough, i think the passenger seat can returm to it's previous position after it's been slid forwards but not the driver's seat :?

Mines always goes back to a few clicks too far forward after being tilted. The GF always says "who's been sitting in my seat". Sounds like the three bears sometimes.

No it doesn't. I asked this a few weeks ago and a few people came back stating that the drivers seat tilts only.

So why havent the mighty quim that is Prodrive sorted this one out then! Such a basic thing to have the seat set in the postion you want for driving and NOT have it do its own thing when you want to get someone in the back and re-set it to the original position!!. God haven't some of these engineers got brians! Get me that 330CI for goodnesssake!

Surely there must be small setting on the seat that allows the seat to be set so that when the backrest is flung forward and set back as it was before, you do not have to readjust the seat for 5 minutes when you get back in!! Truly amazingly bad design!!

Maybe the thing to do is not let anyone get in the back!!

mmmmmm my lovely full leather memory seats have FULL electric adjustment, even the headrest is memory

agree'd though the passenger seat should have a facility to go back to the previous setting, i think this fault lies at SUBARU though and not PRODRIVE as its the same for every 2 door scooby i believe :?:

thanks for that essexscubby You have really made my day with your leather memory seats! Don't fart to hard on them and with the leather being so subtle they just may split!

Hi Keith

The leather looks cool i will agree and it cleans easy  but see when it's cold it is a bloody nightmare, but in the summer when you are wearing short's just take it easy as you really can burn your legs, ooh so sore.

Enjoy it though M8
