I'm going to do a bit of DIY on the bumper wedges as the speckles of orange are showing a bit more now. I was wondering what colour would look best. I've searched but lots of the pictures aren't loading due to Photobucket being pants or the jpeg is no longer available etc.
I had blue (same colour as car) in mind, but black (again) and silver are also appealing. Anyone have any opinions on what they would do? Thanks :)
Pictures that show would be nice too :D

Yeah silver is appealing to be honest, but dont want it looking out of place or too 'bling'. Would need a piccy to clarify. Cheers Pete :)

Another vote for black!

Matches the grill (and window surrounds etc) better and looks more standard and stealth :)

(probably 'cause it is standard but you know what I mean :!: :? )

Thanks peeps. I'm presuming from the photo above that silver would kinda match the clear indicators in the bumper? Black is the definitely the easiest colour to spray them, obviously. Just fancied a change if the eye candy was nice enough. I'll await more pics before opting for black :)

EDIT : Just got your PM Mark, you have return PM!

I like em black as it makes the front look more aggressive. I've been toying with the idea of removing the vents altogether and using mesh. Anyone done this already?

Hi i know this is a year old topic, but my bumper wedges are starting to speckle orange.
I have decided to make them silver. All i really need to know is how to remove them, What is the best type of paint to use for primer and silver. And also (I know it sounds stupid) do you prime straght over the black and orange speckles or do you rub of the black, and prime straght on the orange?

Any help would be great as im sure half the forum has done this.

Monki.

Small access point at the top of the wedge. Use a flat head screwdriver in a plastic bag to gently lever the wedge out.

I used plasti-kote on the wedges. Didn't prime, just sprayed on a couple of coats after a quick wash with a toothbrush and some washing up liquid. Probably not the best way but quick and easy.
