Hi,

I did a track day last year and experienced the engine throttling itself back after a series of extreme corners and then heavy throttle on a straight. Basically once onto the straight the engine would throttle itself back, killing the power, for a couple of seconds and then normal service would be resumed.

I'd put this down to fuel starvation or overboost until the other day when driving up a steeply banked hill (left hand then right hand corner) I had the same problem.

Has this problem been seen by anyone else?

Cheers.

can you remember how much petrol was in the tank when it happened on the hill?

Yeah I had a fairly full tank, but I did wonder about this ont he track day last year.

Gatwick Subaru are contacting Prodrive as apparently poor fuel pump performance has been seen before.

I'll let you know what happens!
