ok as i know nothing about scoobies i need some help please .
i dont have a all singing and dancing p1 but a (lowers head in shame ) 1.6 gl 2 wheel drive 1999 model .
i just need to know a decent exhaust or back box that would fit so i can make it at least sound better .
would anyone know what size i would need etc or anywhere i could go to find out as haynes dont do a manual so ive been told

Didn't realise there was a 2-wheel drive version - I thought all Subarus were 4wd (unless they've been modified to 2wd status).
Sorry, can't help with the bb query - best bet would be to make a few phone calls to some aftermarket parts suppliers eg demontweeks.
tbh I'd save the money for the time being...

Have you asked on Imprezasport.net (I think that's the chappy).

Dunno if they'll fit but...
STi backbox from V4/5/6
Prodrive PPP or Subaru WR Sport backbox.
Prodrive P1 backbox.

Of the above, the STi one should be getable for around £50. What I don't know is whether it'll bolt straight up to the existing exhaust.

Gut feeling is that as a smaller NA engine, the pipes will be smaller, maybe 2" rather than 2.5"... Might not be an issue if the flange will bolt up though...

yep mines a 2wd 1999 on a v was originally from ireland . i didnt know they made them too some guy at my subaru dealer said there pretty rare as most people want sti or turbo versions lol
