Easy...

1. Remove 4 10mm headed bolts holding the bumper to the front wings (2 per side, under the plastic arch protectors), these are a tw&t to do so start with these. There is a good possibility these will snap, so get some replacements from subaru...

2. Remove the two bolts holding the bumper on from the bottom, one will be under the towing eye cover, the other is stupidly unaccessable (once you have got it out and got the bumper off might be an idea to bore a small hole so you can get a screw driver up to it to put it back next time).

3. Remove the carbon canister to the front left hand side (big cylindrical black thing next to the radiator) by pulling upwards. Underneath here you will see two big bolts holding the bumper to the chassis. There will be another two next to the battery. Remove all four bolts, the bumper will still be held to the car by two "hooks" which means the bumper must be lifted upwards and then pulled forwards to remove. If you don't you will bend the hooks which isn't the end of the world.

Hope that helps mate, it is easier said then done I can tell you... :P
