I have the chance of a set of Brembo brakes (ft & rear gold calipers) which are currently fitted to a '02 plate sti7 wearing 'standard' 17" alloys.

Can anyone tell me if they'll fit behind my 17" P1 alloys :?: Don't want to let them go by if they'll fit mine :D ...... though i suppose there's always fleabay

not sure about that. isn't the offset different on the sti7's to the p1? try sending a PM to stuart.w for some advice

Thge offset on the P1 wheels will not allow the STi7 brakes to fit AFAIK. That is why you cannot put P1 wheel on an STi7.

Russel's right the offsets are different for the P1 & ST7, brake calipers will not fit.

but i thought offset was to do with the distance between the bolts? if thats the case, how would this affect where the calipers go?
or have i got the PDC and Offset mixed up?

Jags if you looks at the prodrive website you will see the 18" P-WRC1 comes in two offsets ET46 & ET53. Only the ET46 will fit an STI with the Brembo cailpers, the wheel is the same design and size only the offsets is different to allow clearance for the cailpers.

:( Pity!

Might still be worth having them if the price is right and putting them on ebay to raise some cash for a different brake upgrade :D

Thanks for the info guys 8)
