Can anyone help. The engine seems a bit jerky/hesitant especially between 2500-3000 RPM. If you try and drive the car nicely at a steedy speed with the revs at 3K RPM it's very noticeable (boost problem??). Just had MAF and Wastegate control valve changed as the problem was much worse before. The MAF improved it alot as the MAF was nackered, but the wastegate valve thing didn't do anything. Any ideas please..

Forgot to mention when I put my foot on the clutch when I'm stopping, the revs drop very low and the car almost stalls but it doesn't.

my old uk turbo did that when the lambda sensor was goosed, it eventually threw up the error code for the lambda on my secs unit.

Cheers mate, will Subaru be able to prove this if I take it to my dealer??

errrrr, i dunno, probably something will tell them on the select monitor or with an emissions check (maybe?). They didn`t need to do any checks with mine, as i showed them the fault code on the secs and they changed it there and then

some people are saying it's the Blitz BOV not setup correctly. Anyone any experience with one of these?

yeah thats a possible cause mate as I've heard these need setting up properly. I think the general theory is you wind the screw right in until it stops and then back out a tiny bit?

I'm sure someone here has the setup KP i think had one?

Try pming him

I've been adjusting it for over a week now and it gets better the more I adjust it. The revs no longer drop below 1K when I stop and the stuttering/hesitation has almost gone. Think I'll try adjusting it some more till I'm happy.

Hi there
you got your problem fixed yet if not try this take your dump valve apart and see if theres any damage to the seal on the piston or any heavy scoring on the dump valve piston I had my blitz valve on for 8 months then the car started stuttering and erratic idling changed to a HKS one and hay presto not had any bother had the HKS vave for about 4 years now not had any problems

dario came in to us the other week with the same kind of problem when he came of throttle it was if the car wanted to cut out what it was, was his blitz dump valve wasnt closing quike enough this causing the revs to drop right down it was just a case of stripping it of and taking it to bits giving the inside a light rub with a bit of wet and dry and spraying it with a bit of service lube before i re-built it he says its fine now car is running perfest try that first before u go to a dealer and they charge u a arm and a leg just to look at it :D

cheers kev
