most you guys know my situation regarding the p1 and licence etc...
thought i'd try confused.com to see if they can help, and here's the result...

Have you tried Tesco's yet mate. They beat my best confused.com quote by £800.

im sure if i tell them, its gonna be used for 5k miles a year i can get somewhere... im regsrted now for 10k usage, but have only done 2.5k in 7-8months...

Maybe try Adrian Flux (saw them mentioned on another thread). It might be useful to browse through the insurance ads in Max Power, Revs, Fast Car, etc. No disrespect to you, Jag :wink: :lol: but their target audience may be in a similar situation :?

lol. none taken matey, but a lot of those companies, i wouldnt go to anywyas, im not nessacerily out for the cheapest deal, but as long as it doesnt take the pi$s...
adrian flux only want to know you if your over 30 i think, or is that liv vic? one of em is over 30, the other is over 25. either way, i still got 3 years to wait for them!!!!
it doesnt matter too much, i could always keep it in storage and get insurance on days that i need it. but that is worse case scenario....
the car is staying with me for a few years yet, no matter what happens..

cheers, yhpm back. by the way, my renewal aint til september, but i just thought i'd see what sort of situation im in now! lol. if the appeal goes well on friday, then it may help a lot more with getting quoted respectable amounts...

cheers mark. i just tried em, i need to call em for a quote cos they cant do anything over the net. in other words, if you want our policy, you gotta sell the car to fund it! :lol:

dont know with my record they have given me a few good quotes on a few cars.
Currently 7 points 24 and 4yncd £800 on my inbiza at the moment.
S3 if i buy one £850 and £1300 for a P1 if i buy one of them.

A dont know. live in one of the accident blackspots in scotland. too much young fishermen with too much money on there hads writting off cars here there and everywhere.

i guess its just sods law that im a 22 year old student driving a £20k that keeps up with the Porkas of the world eh....
oh well, maybe if/when i get a proper/sensible job they will like me more. :lol:

How the hell does a student get a P1, a was luck to drive a clapped out green D reg fiesta when a was a student. few years ago now though.
