I spent yesterday and today detailing my car. I used guidance and products from www.polishedbliss.com and the results are very good.
I spent 9 hours yesterday:
Quick wash to remove the thick dirt followed by a proper wash.
I then removed each wheel in turn giving it a thorough clean and a wax.
I then polished the exhaust backbox and clay bared the car in preparation for today.
Today I spent 6 hours:
First I washed the over night dust off and dried it off.
Then I applied Blackfire polish all over (in the garage out of the sun) and then I used the Blackfire wet diamond protector.
Now I'm knackered.

Excellent results mate. I took mine to the local £6 hand car wash today...was far too hot to be washing cars, and I dont have a garage to do it in...

I expect it looks even better in the flesh Phil.

There was a good article in Performance Tuner mag on how to clean the car properly.

Nice mate. When mine gets done this summer, I'll post step by step pictures and post a bit of a write up.

Have you got rid of the swirl marks? :D

the swirl marks are very faint but still there. you need to use a machine polisher to remove them.

Looks good but if you want a real deap shine and to protect the paint from road grime ie, salt etc. Give it a a few coats of wax. one coat then the next day wash the car and give it a 2nd coat. I use chem guys 50/50 after all is polished, sealed etc. :):)

I won't be doing many mile until Saturday's NBO show where I might add a 2nd coat or 3.
