Ray,
im pretty certain the driving lights (fogs) only work when you have your main beam on the headlights on.

Are they not working in conjunction with your headlights?

Are they not working when you have your headlights set to full beam?

They should only work if your headlights are set to full beam.

Have you pushed the button to the left of the fog button? If you got this pushed in, what you flash your high beams or turn them on, the backing light should light up a green strip at the top of the button!.

If this green backing light is on, go check your driving lamps they should be on too!!!!!

Would you like me to take a photo of it so its easyer to understand?

Hope this helps.

Monki.

Hey no problems P1Ray,

I know ever so often these cars throw up a mysterie that needs to be solved. As i was reading the comments i was wondering if everyone bough most of there cars with the driving lamp button pushed in? As i had covers on my driving lamps till recently, when i tryed my high beams i had the same problem so i started pushing ever button imaginable. My car was like a lit up xmas tree. But i found out what that little button did next to the fog light button.

Glad i was able to help!.

Regard Monki.

Sounds like somebody has been messing around with your wiring in the car mate, with the problems you seem to be having regarding lights etc.

Pmsl,

Or It could be a fuse? Have you checked in the engine bay and also the fuse box behind the cubby hole which is just abbove the bonnet puller?

Be funny if it was another fault on the bulb check system pmsl.

Do you not have the manual mate? If not I'll dig mine out and check, but if you shine a torch into the fuse box near drivers seat you should be able to tell if one has blown, lol

Yeh the one to the front of the fuse box, next to the green one, but below the orange one, and 4 rows down from the clear one. Count to three and hop on one leg and whalla the answer will reveal it self! :P :D

Matt, look inside the Impreza Car manual and it will show you the fuse positions and there function. e.g for example, One fuse will be for the front fogs and dipped, and the other would be for the portable hand dryer and BBQ \:D/

Well at least both our heads together we can correctly top up our water, fix your LED lights, and find the fuse box on am impreza pmsl.
