Hi guys,

The carbon lip on my spoiler is a little dull and faded. Any ideas how to bring it back up? Was thinking using tyre dressing on it?!

Cheers :)

Hi Kosy

Had the same problem on mine a few years back, theres no point in cleaning it what you need to do is get the carbon re laquared, that way you are protecting the carbon and getting the smooth feel and shine back on the carbon. Night snd day when done i promise its worth it.

but don't they clean it before re-lacquering? It's a bit like waxing and sealing your car without washing it?

As above or Aerospace 303 works well.
If using 303, spray direct onto rag & apply.

Thanks fudge, will keep that in mind.

Well i took the quick fix option for now and got some Autoglym bumper care. Must have looked a right gimp as I couldn't resist the urge to try it whilst still in the Halfrauds car park! Guy in a brand spanking Exige S parked up next to me with a wry grin.... :blushing:

Worked a treat though :D Thanks again!
