Jag, think No.3 is best. Don't you fancy the Prodrive one?

im looking at these speakers to go on show...
http://www.polkaudio.com/images/car/medium/mm6.jpg

so with it, im looking to go MOMO on the gear knob, handbrake, door sills and 4-point harness:
http://www.momo.it/momoeng/set1.html click on MOMO COURSE then TUNING to see what im on about.

i've edited this post so many times to make it work, but that stupid link aint doin its job properly! :x

Nice one. what is the silver bit on the first photo? (the rest as red Xs)

the silver box with the speakers is a crossover. basically, it splits the frquencies to go to each particualr speaker (mid bass and tweeter - in red)

depending on where the wires are attached to the crossover, you can adjust the level of sound and the frquenices at which they play.... cos obviously, the little tweeter is not gonna be able to cope with bass sounds, so the crossover will cut them out and leave it playing the high notes like vocals, snares etc...

I can see them all and I think the blue one at the bottom looks cool (cant have too much BLUE in my opinion  )

you should look at the PRODRIVE ones too Jag like this:

This is on a new STI but they do them for classics without the "lifty up" bit :D

I've got the Prodrive shiny one with the blue insert too but it gets really cold in the morning and you hand near sticks to it goodness knows what its going to be like in the depths on winter

oops just re-read that one and the expression "cold mornings, hand nearly sticks to knob" could leave me open to abuse

Sits back and waits for flak !!!

Ah but we have heated gear knobs down here for our soft hands Eddie
Not like you guys who just stick hedgehogs on yours to make gear changing more exciting!
