P1 SONIC

Am going to fit new headers to the P1 before I have it re-mapped, but not sure which ones.
Was going for the GT Spec headers untill I saw the slightly unequal length headers that TSL do.(very high quality).
Anyone had any experience with these ?

Got no problem with my headers. You sure its not your mapper :D What headers you got? Please dont tell me TSL? They are as bad as Megan!
Give him a pm and see what he says.

Time to straighten the record here alitte :) I have the TSL headers, and they are NOT the same as the megan headers, from what i understand they are identical to the unequal-length headers that RCM sell (at least from photo's :)) The megan headers have solid crosspipe, where as the others are slipped jointed to stop thermal expansion. Yes, i had a set fail on me (running 450+hp with the tightly heat wrapped and the wields around the 4-to-1 collector failed), but i'm confident that it was just a one off.
Saying that, Money has said hes had good results from the GT-Spec headers ... if i have any probs, i'll def be looking at these next :)

Im not saying anything! lol
Ok maybe I will
Spoke to Amorphia this week and he is going to let us know how the headers go.
GT Spec is slightly unequal. Lauchris has them on his P1 and apparently made quite an impression at mapping. They seem to be slightly unequal to keep the burble, but also close to HKS for great flow.

Still got my fingers crossed :) ScoobyDoo, did u have them wrapped? What turbo spec u running? Wrapping them will help turbo spool and cuts lag, plus, Matt at TSL is a dab hand at doing it :) (he luvs it really ;))
