I am seriously looking at replacing my pulleys as they are going rusty!! I see that money recommended the GT Spec set but they are americain and quite expensive, Graham Goode do a set at approx £205 inc vat in blue made from highest grade 6061-T6 aluminium (from GoFast Bits), has anyone tried these, are they any good?

i have the gt spec ones on. pickle has the gofastbits ones on his.
the gt spec ones you can use the o.e belts, but IIRC the gofastbits ones need different ones. pm pickle and he will confirm.
there is no real performance advantage with these bob, but they do 8) look nice

How much were the RCM ones? What is the URL so I can have a look at them?
Do they use the original belts?
Thanks

My bad!
I was looking at the wrong item on my recipt. £210 + VAT is the right price.

Can you please let me know if they had any problem fitting them, as the RCM ones look the best at the moment to me.
Thanks

The GFB versions are underdriven, which means the Crank pulley is smaller diammeter than the OE pulley. This in turn means the belts need to be slightly shorter, but the belts ARE supplied with the kit, which in my case was a good move, as the OE belts were looking a little tired after 4+yrs.
They aren't a huge job to fit, and I can offer my services if they are wanted (for a small fee of course!!)

GT Spec are the daddy and are similiar price to RCM.
I remember looking everywhere for pulley kits. After few emails to GT Spec they got back to me saying sh*t it was made out of where other cheaper brands use other cheaper stuff. So me, mark and Chris went for a kit :D

What is the other pulley that is not replaced by the GT Spec kit. Does anyone do a replacement for that one?
By the way have ordered a GT Spec kit from Money, still at the same price.

Its the Air-con pump Bob. Nobody does a replacement pulley, as this only 'clutches' in when the AC is switched on.
