i know a few of you boys  have got these and need to pick your brains...
1. does the p1 need a specific fitting kit?
2. do you 'really' find it made any difference apart from the 'whoosh' which makes you think you're going faster (perhaps) 8)
3. which internal springs are you using, any noticeable performance differemce between the blue and red?
4. any fitting instructions? doe sit just bolt to the i/cooler, alter some pipework (what will I need), and stick a bung in somewhere??!!
5. any running probs, idle etc?
6. anyone got one but then get bored of the niose - how loud is it??
thanks
Kev

I'll try my best here Shagger.
1, You will need the one for the STI 5
2, no difference in performance at all apart from the wooosh. It also lets the exhaust pop and bang a bit.
3, I've used both springs. The blue lifts above 3500 rpm and the red lifts above 5000 rpm. The blue is best IMHO.
4. Fitting. VERY simple. YOu will need a 12mm spanner and some long nosed pliers. Use the pliers to remove the two hoses. Use the 12mm spanner to undo the two bolts, careful not to drop the gasket. Refit the new D/V (reuse the gasket) and fir the plug into the big hose. job complete. :D
5, none that I have experienced.
6, Mickle got bored of his and sold it to me. IT ABOUT THE SAME NOISE LEVEL AS ME SHOUTING ..

I have been tempted into getting one of these. I just want to make sure that the car is going to run ok with one fitted.

Here's FORGE's spares page mate: FORGE Spares (http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/products.asp?cat=TUNDVINT&catalog=TUNDVINT) they come with a red and blue spring but the red is the best :D

Will let you know when they come but when i test drove the p1 it had the forge vta on it but the dealer took it off  . Anyway with that one it dumped very early at even just a small acceleration. Nothing like my one i have now but the differance was quite considerable
