Just thought I'd come over and say hi as not only is it about time I did so from a club relations point of view but I may well be joining you soon in getting a P1 as I've got wind of a bit of a bargain.

We have a few members who have (or have had) P1's and are members here. Matt (P1#669) and Jamie (P1#126) to name but two. All have had nothing but praise for your club so I look forward to joining.

Feel free to pay us a visit anytime.

Thanks chaps.

I doubt I'll have a P1 in time for the meet but Jamie (P1#126) said he was going. I'm sure he could do with the company on the drive down so seeing as you don't mind I may come in my "Green beast".

It'll be the perfect opportunity to convince the wife how nice P1's are ;)

I had a 2 door (normal) car before the 4 door Scoob I have now so having a young family I convinced her the Scoob was a sensible 4 door family saloon :D

I'm now having to tactfully go back on everything I said about 2 doors

possible reasoning/sale pithecs to wife:

being a young family, it'll keep the kids fit having to climb out the back of a 2door as supposed to a 4door, where they jus step//jump out.

also, it aint a true coupe cos the head room in back is still amazing. so if wife has to get in back for whatever reason, she wont be in any discomfort from smacking her head into the roof or anything.

a lot more boot space for shopping sprees then other cars your considering.

and its a limited edition so should hold its re sale value better then most other cars your considering. so when it come to sell it. more money for the darling wife to spend on shoes. or bags. its always one or the other with women. they always have to have a fetish for one of those.
